BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY by PAULIUS MUSTEIKIS
I am finally picking up images from the end of this past summer and start sorting them out. This was the road trip that took me to Black Rock dessert and back home.
Over 70 hours spent in the car. Weird people. Numerous truck stops (we were driving diesel VW). Junk food. People. Sleepless nights, dirty streets, Playa dust. Partying till the sun goes down and goes back up. Good times with friends, long walks, secret swimming hole escapes. Cheap hotels. Good trips, bad trips. More weird people.
World is one big-sad-fascinating-diverse-twisted-happy place to be. Once I’m exposed to unknown part of it I really thrive.
This blog post in going to be in black and white only.
Why? Well… (…señor takes another sip of his Maker’s Mark…)
Black and white photography feels just right at the moment. (:
TECH STUFF: All images were shot with DSLR. Most of the images shot with manual 35mm f/2.8. All images processed in Lightroom 5 with modified Eric Kim’s Neopan 1600 Lightroom preset.
