As someone who has been a full-time photographer since 2012, I’ve done it all. I photographed fall leaves, abandoned buildings, babies in baskets, babies on blankets. I did photograph food for magazines and restaurants, weddings, headshots and portraits.
Along the way I’ve took many photography courses. And it’s bee a blessing a and a curse.
I wasted lots of my time and resources on wrong things. I’ve made many mistakes.
And while I don’t regret the methods and the path I took, I know any learning process could be easier. Good mentor could have reduced learning time and complexity dramatically.
It’s important to realize, that its way more intelligent to learn from the mistakes others make. Therefore save time and resources.
Good mentor would realistically evaluate your current photography skills, help to set goals, advice on best resources available, etc. In other words, help jump start your freelance photography career.
For this reason, I created my photography classes and mentoring programs.

My photography mentoring programs has been developed to help starting photographers who seek to improve their photography skills. During my mentoring sessions, besides evaluating your current skill level, defining the direction you want to proceed and working on improving your technical skills, I will also share my knowledge about all other aspects of being a successful full-time photographer.
Also, besides working on assigned homework, you will be able to observe me working and participate at selected real photoshoots.
I accept a limited number of students each year, therefore in person interview is required to join the Advanced Mentoring program.
My mentoring programs can be and will be personalized to reflect student’s current photography level and will help accommodate individual’s needs. I have professional experience in photojournalism, weddings, food, travel and portraits/headshots.

I offer photography classes and mentoring programs for individuals, small businesses and corporations. Photography mentoring programs are designed to work 1-on-1 in my studio is located in near East downtown of Madison, WI. On the other hand, if needed, classes and mentoring programs can be done on location or online. Serving Central and Southwestern Wisconsin. Available for travel nationwide.
