TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY MADISON WI by PAULIUS MUSTEIKIS
Los Glaciares National Park in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina is by far the best hiking place I ever visited. Period. Endless hiking trails, one of a kind landscape, challenging weather, solitude (very possible depending on the time of the year)- one couldn’t wish for more.
After the plane landed in El Calafate we quickly moved to the North part of Los Glaciares. Little El Chaltén town sits right on the boarded of Los Glaciares National Park– trails start right at the town boarder.
There were couple sunny days, there was rain, there was snow. Couple of days we just spent in the El Relincho campground’s kitchen/ shelter. Drinking wine and staying dry, warm and cozy.
We did spend a week in El Chaltén. Hiked 98.5km (approximately 60 miles) park trails, camped in the foothill of His Majesty Fitz Roy, drank wine, listened to silence and just absorbed as much as we could in that short period of time.
Los Glaciares was just pure awesomeness. Want a half day trip? Here you go! Want to spend a night out there? No problem! Looking for something more challenging? You just got served… It takes 5-10 days (depending on weather) to complete some of the trails. You can easily (and by saying easily, I mean EASILY) spend a month in Los Glaciares National Park.
I must confess that I am not nature or landscape (whatever that means) photographer by any means. Below is an example of how I see things, shapes and happenings. It’s travel photography Madison WI my way.
All our experiences and this travel photography Madison WI wouldn’t be possible without these fellas:
