35MM OLYMPUS XA REVIEW by PAULIUS MUSTEIKIS
I just went ahead and cancelled this camera’s listing on e-Bay. No, it’s not for sale anymore. I need this little f*cker to stick around and prove that megapixels doesn’t matter. That FPS (frames per second) doesn’t matter. And nobody gives a flying duck regarding your moms fast 1.2 glass or super improved ISO.
It’s all the opposite. This primitive 35mm warrior is exactly the same age as I am. Nothing digital. Camera is as small as 35mm camera can get. I picked it up in local thrift store past summer for mind blowing $1.70. I kid you not.
It’s winter out there right now. I finally managed to finish one roll of expired professional Kodak BW 400 CN film and placed camera for sale. And the sale won’t happen.
Cuz I just developed the film. Cuz just I changed my mind . This little beast will stay with me.
As I am writing this Olympus XA review (well not really a review) and am super excited about our future adventures and road trips that lay ahead. This little Olympus XA warrior is after high ISO performers, fast frames per second, big dynamic range, large apertures, fast focusing systems and extensive megapixels.
Bring it on!
